The pink of this vase is not a garish pink. It's a powder pink, almost flesh-toned, that passes through the frosted glass like filtered light. Its satiny surface absorbs ambient light without reflecting it, giving the piece a soft and constant presence, whether the light is natural or artificial. The silhouette is slender, resting on a stable round base, its body gradually flaring towards a wide neck that opens like a corolla. The undulating, scalloped edge, hand-drawn during the glass-blowing process, completes the piece with a floral lightness. Height, 24 cm. Very good condition. On a dressing table, a shelf, or a bedside table, this vase discreetly asserts its presence. A peony stem, a cherry blossom branch, or a few cosmos stems will naturally find their place within it.
