A small jewelry box exuding a soft charm, molded from satin pinkish glass with iridescent reflections. Its tribolate shape, suggested by three rounded lobes that form a heart, gives it an instantly recognizable silhouette. The lid and the inside of the base each feature a seagull in flight, acid-etched into the body of the glass. The satin glass interacts with light in a particularly captivating way. Its matte surface captures ambient light and diffuses it into a soft glow, while the polished interior reflects light with greater intensity. This type of pink pressed glass box, with engraved animal motifs, is characteristic of French or Bohemian glass production from the 1930s-1950s, in the style of Lalique's creations. Approximately 12 cm wide, 10 cm deep. The glass is in good condition, with the subtle charm of objects that have spanned several decades.
