A stylish design from the 1960s, created by Tjerk Reijenga for Pilastro. This tea trolley exudes the elegance of Dutch modernism, with a lightweight, gently rounded tubular frame that strikes a delicate balance between functionality and simplicity.
The two perforated metal shelves give the trolley an open character. The top shelf is finished in white and the bottom in black, creating a subtle rhythm in the design. The bottom shelf features an integrated bottle rack that can hold just three bottles.
The four original casters roll smoothly and are still fully intact. The black, domed caps above the wheels are characteristic of Pilastro and confirm the authentic design.
This tea trolley has been carefully cleaned and polished by us. The metal has been lightly refinished with a matching lacquer, giving it a fresh look without losing its history. A timeless piece that effortlessly serves as a bar cart, serving trolley, or as a charming accent in the home. Where people once swam, in our old swimming pool in Groningen, you'll now find these distinctive pieces that continue to tell the story of mid-century design.
