Pierre Chapo Set of 8 chairs, model "S11". Seat height: 43.5 cm Reference: LS67365308 Pierre Chapo (1927-1987) was a French furniture designer who fell in love with wood after meeting a shipwright. He enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1947. The frame is made of natural blond elm with "48×72" joinery (a technical innovation by Pierre Chapo patented in 1964), the seat is upholstered in interwoven leather, and the back is leather. Signs of age. Made in France in the 1960s-70s. Dimensions: Total height 78 x W 43.5 x D 43.5 cm
