A pewter sculpture of a woman's head, crafted by the Postainiers Hutois, a Belgian workshop renowned for its metalwork.
The composition depicts a woman's face delicately resting in her hands, in a pose that is both gentle and introspective. The modeling is expressive, with beautifully textured hair and a silvery-grey patina that subtly captures the light.
This piece was created as part of the La Femme Prévoyante school in Liège, as indicated by the original label on the base, adding a historical and social dimension to the object.
