The Del Prado “Cavalry of the Napoleonic Wars” (often simply “Del Prado cavalry”) is a well-known collectible series of miniature soldiers from the Napoleonic era. It does not concern a real military unit, but rather a collection of figures.
🧠 What is this Del Prado collection?
The series was published by the publisher Del Prado and consists of scale metal (tin/die-cast) equestrian figures (usually 1:32).
Each figure represents a real cavalry soldier from the Napoleonic Wars
Hand-painted with historically accurate uniforms and equipment
Average height ±10 cm (with horse)
Supplied with a booklet explaining the unit
