In this numbered and signed screen print by Petra Lommen, the artist has abstract figures that meander across the paper like organic shapes. It provides a wonderful world of shapes that also evoke a powerful image as an abstraction. Organic forms, nature, legends and myths play a major role in her work. Without a preconceived plan, her drawings on paper and her sculptures slowly emerge from the clay, the image takes on a life of its own, partly determined by her intuition.
