Description
The design duo Hvidt & Mølgaard-Nielsen ran a joint studio in Copenhagen from 1944 to 1975. During this time, they designed nearly 300 pieces of furniture, including iconic designs such as the AX chair and the Drawn chair. Their work was groundbreaking for Danish Modernism and remains highly sought after by design enthusiasts. Their creations are exhibited in renowned museums such as the MoMA in New York and the National Gallery in Melbourne. Hvidt & Mølgaard-Nielsen were twice awarded an honorary diploma at the Milan Triennale.
