An unusual pair of mid-century pendant lamps by Pukeberg, combining elements of Art Deco elegance with Scandinavian modern design. These sculptural pendants showcase the artisanal craftsmanship and refined material sensibility for which Pukeberg became renowned. Each lamp features a cylindrical form with a teak top section paired with a peach-toned glass diffuser below. The geometric shaping and warm apricot hue of the glass clearly reference the Art Deco aesthetic, while the clean lines and restrained form remain firmly rooted in mid-century Scandinavian design. When illuminated, the glass emits a warm amber glow, creating a beautiful interplay of colour, texture, and light. The contrast between the natural teak and softly coloured glass gives the pendants a distinctive and atmospheric presence. The lamps have been newly rewired with brown textile cords in keeping with the original style and are suitable for EU standards, ready for contemporary interiors while retaining their authentic vintage character.
