A very nice vintage design pendant lamp by Peill & Putzler, designed by Aloys F. Gangkofner This large pendant lamp made of opal glass has an organic shape that runs from narrow to wide and again to narrow. The opal glass distributes light evenly over the entire surface. Which creates a very beautiful glow. The lamp made by Peill & Putzler Germany around 1960 to 1969 has the following dimensions: Height: 50.5 cm Width center: 22 cm About the designer: Prof. Aloys F. Gangkofner (1920 - 2003) was an important German glass designer of post-war modernism. In addition to loose individual pieces, he created many industrial designs, including lamps for probably the most important German glass lamp manufacturer of the time, Peill and Putzler, as well as works in an architectural context. His work is represented in numerous museums.
