Product description
This small pressed glass vase was designed by Pavel Pánek for the Libochovice glassworks, part of the Sklo Union, in the 1970s. The design is characterized by its distinctive, textured surface, typical of the experimental glassmaking of this era. The vase is made of transparent pressed glass and features a geometric pattern of raised diamonds and rounded bumps. It has a cylindrical shape, measuring 17 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter. The pressed glass manufacturing technique allowed for the precise creation of this complex relief, which refracts light in a captivating way. The piece is in very good condition, commensurate with its age and careful use. The glass is clear, and the textured surface remains undamaged. This vase is a characteristic example of Czechoslovakian glass design from the 1970s. It is perfectly suited as a decorative element in a mid-century modern interior or as a collector's item for lovers of Sklo Union glass. Item description: Classic, heavy cylindrical vase made of clear pressed glass with a striking, three-dimensional geometric relief pattern of hemispheres (bumps) and diamonds ("bud style").
