An extremely rare set of two Art Deco armchairs designed by Paul Follot (1877–1958), one of the leading French designers of the early 20th century. Crafted from black lacquered wood with gilded details, the armchairs showcase the refined craftsmanship and elegance typical of Follot's work.
The chairs have been reupholstered in the past. The current upholstery is in reasonable condition and can be replaced if desired. The woodwork and frame are exceptionally well-preserved, especially considering their age. The loose seat cushions are missing; these can be custom-made upon request. The entire set can be reupholstered if desired. For now, the chairs are offered in their current condition, with a price adjusted accordingly.
An extremely rare find of museum-quality. Only sofas by this designer are available online, and they are offered in a considerably higher price range.
