Pastoe dining table, Cees Braakman, Japanese series
Extendable from 1.20 to 1.70
Perfect for a place with limited space or as a work table with extra room
Extension system works perfectly
Base and extension section have been together for 65 years, acquired from the 1st owner
Top comes from a unit whose base was mistreated with a pot of paint and brush
Teak veneer
The top still needs some love, light sanding and WD40 again, for example. The staining is mainly due to it not having been oiled often enough
With a lot of care, you might be able to almost completely remove the burn mark
The other damage is strange, possibly also a burn mark
The base is still original, never painted or sprayed. Given its age, it is in reasonably good condition, naturally showing signs of age and use
Fits easily in a car
Pickup is possible, and I can sometimes deliver along the Dokkum-Hoofddorp route. Or we can meet at a strategic point. I also have 3 dining chairs by Cees Braakman. Not the Japanese series, but teak with black seats and a slim design (ladder chairs). They need some love too.
