Minimalist and stylish vintage desk, designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe in the Netherlands in the early 1960s. This iconic design desk is crafted from warm teak and is characterized by the sleek, timeless design for which Braakman is known.
On the right side, there is a drawer unit with four curved, dust-resistant plywood drawers, featuring the characteristic integrated handles. This model belongs to Pastoe's Japanese series, where the minimalist lines and use of teak are clearly inspired by Japanese design.
The desk is beautifully finished all around, making it ideal for freestanding placement in a room, for example, in a living room, office, or studio. Perfect for fans of mid-century modern, Scandinavian, and vintage design furniture.
