Beautiful Pastoe cabinet from the iconic Made to Measure series, dating from the 1960s/70s. This mid-century cabinet is crafted in teak veneer with elegant white door elements and back panels, combined with black coated metal handles. The design is characterized by the typical Cees Braakman plywood curved drawers and the unique milled connecting slats on all corners, creating a distinctive construction with a bulge in the center of the wooden elements. The cabinet is marked with an original Pastoe sticker.
The cabinet is in good condition with signs of use consistent with its age, such as slight discoloration on the lower cabinet doors and a few small stains/lighter spots on the doors. The top drawer has a few scratches and the flap door has a minimal scratch. Sections have been cut out of the back panels for cables; these are easy to replace (supplied separately). The cabinet is almost complete; 11 shelf supports and the hinges of the top left door are missing. All connecting bushings are present and functioning; only a few plastic decorative caps are missing. The flap and drawers close perfectly, as do the dresser doors. One door closes slightly less smoothly, which can be remedied with a slight adjustment and silicone spray.
Dimensions: height 175.7 cm, depth 45 cm, width 214 cm.
The cabinet can be disassembled and picked up in Amsterdam Slotermeer, on the ground floor. Free parking is available in front of the door. All necessary materials for disassembly are present.
