Leonov's historic twenty minutes in space, on March 18, 1965, as the first human to perform an extravehicular activity. The fierce USSR-America rivalry in the space race was at its peak. A first-rate document for collectors passionate about the space race, the Cold War, and the history of science. The back cover features an advertisement for Roja-Net Jeunesse hairspray, with the Roja-Net Sisters, "well-coiffed all day long," in its colorful 1960s pop graphic style.
