Rare set of Papillon lounge chairs, designed in 1974 by Guido Maria Rosati for Giovannetti. Inspired by the shape of a butterfly, these striking chairs combine playfulness with comfort and are a real eye-catcher in a colorful or minimalist space.
The chairs are upholstered in blue fabric - reupholstered by the previous owner - and are in very good condition. Both the seat and back have the same dimensions and can be interchanged, making the design extra practical and flexible.
Guido Maria Rosati, from Abruzzo, also worked with Guzzini, among others, and is known for his functional designs with a sculptural look.
The Papillon chairs are exceptionally comfortable and invite relaxation - perfect for sinking into with a book or for good conversation.
