Product description
Verner Panton (1926 - 1998) was a Danish designer of Pop Art. This pair of Panton Chairs in purple comes from the rare 1st series, produced around 1968-1969. The chairs were made from Baydur and then lacquered. This production method was only used for a short time by Bayer in Leverkusen, which makes these early models particularly rare. Very good condition, the chairs have only very minor signs of use.
