The Pamplona armchair was designed by Augusto Savini for the Italian manufacturer Pozzi in 1965 and is one of the most iconic armchairs of Italian modernism. Its form is based on a distinctive structure in which the front legs flow smoothly into the wide armrests, creating a single, uninterrupted line. This design looks equally good from any angle, with wood and metal details being an integral part of the composition. The model also appeared in advertisements for Domus magazine in the late 1960s, confirming its place in the history of Italian design. The armchair is made of stained ash wood with a lacquered finish and upholstered in dark brown natural leather.
