This pair of V.N.C. "Venetian Opaline" ashtrays embodies the elegance of Italian glassmaking from the 1970s. Made in Murano, these decorative objects are distinguished by their clean, cylindrical silhouette and vibrant hue, characteristic of the design of that era.
Crafted from deep turquoise opaline glass, these ashtrays are enhanced by a finely beaded, gilded brass mount. The opaline technique gives the glass a milky translucency that subtly captures the light. The original labels, bearing the inscription "V.N.C. Venetian Opaline Hand Made in Italy," attest to their provenance and handcrafted nature.
The pair is in excellent condition, retaining its structural integrity and original charm. The natural patina of the brass testifies to their authenticity and their history through the decades.

Seller's note: An elegant pair of small turquoise blue opaline ashtrays, encircled by a gilt metal frame. Made in Italy by Vincenzo Nason & Cie (V.N.C.), based in Murano, with original "Venetian Opaline" stickers preserved. They have a beautiful luminous effect characteristic of Venetian opaline production from the second half of the 20th century.
Condition: Signs of use and slight wear to the gilding consistent with age. There is a crack inside one ashtray; it is invisible from the outside and does not detract from the overall appearance.
