Charming pair of Stella chairs from the 1950s, crafted from bentwood, with a design typical of bistro and school chairs of the era.
Their elegant silhouette, with armrests and spindle backs, gives them plenty of character while maintaining a visually light appearance.
The chairs have been fully sanded, treated against pests, and then protected with Liberon's "bistro" varnish, giving them a beautiful satin finish and good resistance to everyday use.
They are both stamped "Stella – Registered Trademark and Model / A Stella seat will last," the brand's iconic signature.
Perfect around a table, in a kitchen, an office, or in a vintage, country, mid-century, or family home.
Please note: one of the chairs shows traces of old woodworm galleries on a front leg. The wood has been treated; the marks are old and have now stabilized. This doesn't detract from the chair's sturdiness or usability; it's simply part of its history and vintage charm.
Dimensions: 58 x 80.5 x 44 cm / Seat height: 46 cm.
