Superb pair of large neoclassical armchairs by Maison Jansen dating from the 60s. They have been completely reupholstered in a beautiful off-white cotton textured fabric by Pierre Frey. With large arms inspired by 19th-century English officers' sofas, beautiful solid oak legs and soft feather cushions, these armchairs are chic yet incredibly comfortable. Their flared shape is timeless, and typical of Maison Jansen's neoclassical work. These armchairs are of rare craftsmanship, and in the pure neoclassical style of Maison Jansen.
