A beautiful and rare pair of raspberry lacquered bedside tables, brass and mirrors made to order by Maison Jansen in the late 70s. The contrast between the raspberry lacquer, the brushed brass frames around the structure and drawers, and the anthracite-grey mirrors on the fronts is superb. The three materials reflect light in different, subtle ways, creating a superb palette of warm colors. A very chic and decorative pair, in the pure style of the 70's, of rare craftsmanship. They have been fully restored and relacquered, and are in superb condition. The chest of drawers shown in some photos, from the same series but with a different finish, is also available.
