Adrian PEARSALL (1925-2011) for Craft Associates
Pair of armchairs with a cruciform base formed from a trapezoidal-cut wooden panel, covered in granite epoxy resin in bas-relief with gold and black bronze projection, high-backed seat block covered in new off-white velvet, small arms forming a trapezoid.
Circa 1960.
These armchairs are part of a line designed by Pearsall that includes dining room chairs, a table and a bar, as well as a sofa with its distinctive use of bronze projected onto resin, reminiscent of the work of Paul Evans.
