Nice mid-century brass candlesticks by Swedish designer Lars Holmström, Arvika - Sweden 1960s. The candlesticks are both beautiful, classic and unique. They look great on a table, window or island. Marked on the bottom with the label Lars Holmström, Arvika. Good vintage condition. Measures: 24cmH x 10.5cmD. Lars August Holmström was born in 1894 in Gävleborg County and died in Båstad. Swedish mid-century artist.Lars Holmström participated in the Paris exhibition and struck there with candlesticks and chandeliers as well as with silver work. He is mentioned in French art magazines, where his work is called a masterpiece of art.
