Product description
Pair of Vallauris ceramic vases, signed "Vallauris" in relief under the base.
French production dating from the 1950s–1960s, typical of a workshop on the French Riviera.
Baluster-shaped vases with flared, undulating necks, resting on pedestals.
Each vase has two twisted, gilded handles.
The decoration differs on each side, hand-painted, featuring stylized polychrome floral motifs (pink, yellow, green, orange) on a glossy black background, with gilt highlights characteristic of Vallauris production from this period.
The presence of the complete pair is a real asset, both for decorative display (symmetry) and for the interest of Vallauris ceramic enthusiasts and collectors. Very good condition, no chips, cracks, or restorations. The gilding is well preserved for its age, with some minor wear on one handle. Matching pair
