This pair of armchairs originates from the New Stage building of the National Theatre in Prague and dates to the 1970s–1980s. The design reflects late modernist furniture with emphasis on structure and material.
The chairs are built on a brass tubular cantilever frame, combining visual lightness with structural stability. The seats and backrests have been reupholstered in fabric, while the original elastic support system is preserved.
Both pieces remain in good condition with natural patina to the brass and signs of use consistent with age. The original inventory label confirms their provenance.
