Pair of teak armchairs by Danish designer Thomas Harlev for IKEA, 1957: solid frame, reclined back, rounded armrests, newly upholstered removable ice-grey cushions.
Designed by Thomas Harlev for IKEA in 1957 and produced until 1964, these armchairs feature a solid teak frame with rounded armrests, splayed legs and a boxed rear frame. The seat is supported by steel springs and the back has a gentle, comfortable rake. Cushions are newly made and upholstered in removable ice-grey fabric. Good condition. May show signs of age.
