Beautiful pair of safari chairs of beech and cognac woven saddle leather produced in Denmark during the 1960s. These chairs are defined by their solid beech frames and beautifully woven natural saddle leather seats. The leather is woven across the seats, creating an open and airy construction while providing comfortable and supportive seating. Often attributed to Arne Norell or Hans J. Wegner, this design characteristics are typical of the Scandinavian design. Although the designer is not well documented, these chairs are unmistakably part of the design movement and quality of the 1960s Scandinavian design.
