An extraordinary and rare pair of corner bar cabinets, part of the S11 series by Angelo Mangiarotti for La Sorgente dei Mobili in the late 1960s. The modular set can be placed either in a corner or against a wall, and is made entirely of African rosewood with solid wood elements. One cabinet features two drawers and an upper compartment with two doors, while the second, much more unique, cabinet features two drawers and a pull-out shelf with a rotating base that allows for a built-in television and allows it to be angled as desired. The set is completed by a column, also entirely clad in rosewood, which features a circular black plastic compartment at the top for storing ice and chilled bottles. The set is in excellent condition, with no significant defects or damage.
