Charming pair of Mid-Century Modern stools originating from Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. The stools feature elegant beechwood frames with gently splayed tapered legs and beautifully curved supporting elements beneath the seats. Their simple construction and organic proportions reflect the functional modernist approach characteristic of Central European furniture design during the postwar period. Each stool has been carefully refurbished and newly upholstered in high-quality genuine sheepskin from Skandilock. The generously textured, long-haired cream sheepskin creates a luxurious tactile surface while providing a beautiful contrast with the warm honey tones of the original beechwood frames. The combination of natural materials, sculptural wooden construction and soft sheepskin gives the pair a timeless appearance that works equally well in Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Nordic and contemporary interiors.
