A striking pair of Mid-Century Modern armchairs dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s.
These armchairs feature a distinctive geometric solid wood frame with sculptural angular armrests and beautifully tapered legs. Their original upholstery, with its flowing abstract pattern in warm beige and brown tones, gives them a bold and highly decorative character while remaining perfectly in keeping with the period.
The chairs have recently been cleaned and are presented in very good vintage condition. The upholstery is original and shows only light signs of age consistent with careful use. The frames are sturdy and stable.
A rare and elegant pair that would complement a Scandinavian, Italian, German, or French Mid-Century interior.
