This elegant pair of armchairs was produced by the renowned Czechoslovakian manufacturer Tatra Nábytok during the 1960s. A staple of Mid-Century Modern design from the Eastern Bloc, these chairs feature the characteristic geometric wooden armrests and splayed legs that defined the era's functional yet sophisticated aesthetic.
The chairs are currently in original condition. The wooden frames remain sturdy with a beautiful natural patina, while the original textured green upholstery showcases the bold color palette popular in 1960s European interiors.
