This pair of armchairs is a classic example of Hungarian mid-century design, manufactured in the 1960s by the prestigious Debreceni Hajlított Bútorgyár (Debrecen Bentwood Furniture Factory). Known for their expertise in steam-bent wood, this manufacturer created pieces that balanced the elegance of the Art Deco era with the functional simplicity of the mid-century modern movement.
