Product description
An iconic pair of “Lollipop” dining chairs, designed by František Jirák and produced by Tatra Nábytok in former Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. The chairs feature beautifully shaped moulded plywood backrests with the characteristic horizontal cut-out, slender tapered wooden legs and upholstered seats. Their light construction, organic curves and elegant proportions are characteristic of Czechoslovak mid-century modern design. The chairs retain their vintage green upholstery and the original seat cushion in the original fabric. The chairs show a beautiful warm patina to the wooden surfaces. The wood is in an original, very good condition. The chairs are strong, confortable and show a great design style.
