Pair of large gilt brass candlesticks, 19th century, circa 1850-1880.
They are complete with their removable candle cups.
I have chosen to preserve the patina; they can be polished to restore their shine, as is often done.
Excellent condition, no play, sturdy, no dents or damage to detract from their beauty, some minor wear consistent with age, perfectly stable.
Height 27.5 cm including candle cup, base 12.5 cm in diameter. Weight approximately 900 grams, or 1.8 kg for the pair.
