An outstanding and documented pair of lounge chairs designed by Kropáček & Kozelka for Interiér Praha, Czechoslovakia, during the 1940s.
Retaining their original manufacturer’s label, these chairs represent an important example of Czech modernist furniture from the post-war transition between Art Deco and early Mid-Century design. Their sculptural bent beechwood armrests, elegant proportions and refined craftsmanship demonstrate the exceptional quality associated with Interiér Praha production.
The chairs have been professionally restored and newly upholstered in a luxurious beige corduroy fabric that enhances their architectural silhouette while respecting the integrity of the original design.
Perfect as statement lounge seating in residential interiors, boutique hotels, executive offices or curated collector spaces.
