An absolute collector's item from the golden age of Scandinavian design. This exquisite pair of candlesticks embodies the geometric perfection and rigor of the Brutalist movement of the 1960s.
Extensive historical research confirms the signature of the Danish sculptor and industrial designer Jens Harald Quistgaard. Made for the Paro Design factory in Denmark, this exceptionally rare model demonstrates a masterful use of fine alloys. Its modular structure in heavy, die-cast aluminum was specifically designed to hold vintage slim candles and can be arranged in a mosaic pattern on a row. The underside of each piece bears the precious official markings cast into the metal: the manufacturer's stamp "Paro Design" and the legal patent notice "Mønster Beskyttet" (Registered Design), guaranteeing complete authenticity.
