Pair of decorative plates in fine Limoges porcelain, signed Jammet Seignolles on the reverse with the inscription 'Peint Main' (Hand-Painted). Each plate features a unique hand-painted scene in the 18th-century style. Plate 1: Gallant scene, a lady in a red dress and a horseman on a white horse in a wooded landscape. Plate 2: Pastoral scene, figures in period costume under the trees. Scalloped edges accentuated with a wide gilded rim and a frieze of gold foliage. Very fine, translucent white porcelain. Reverse marked with the manufacturer's gilded stamp. Jammet Seignolles is a Limoges manufacturer renowned for its superior quality hand-painted decorations, in the tradition of the great Limoges houses.
