Rare pair of Cubist wall lights produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1920s featuring exceptional geometric star-shaped constructions crafted from wood and brass.
These remarkable sconces embody the distinctive aesthetic language of Czech Cubism with dramatic angular silhouettes and refined architectural proportions. The sculptural brass cone shades combined with layered star backplates create an iconic early modernist appearance strongly connected to Central European avant-garde design of the interwar period.
The lights retain an authentic aged patina and have been carefully refurbished with new electrical wiring for contemporary use. Fully compatible with US standards and suitable for E26/E27 bulbs.
