Pair of Bauhaus folding side chairs model B751, produced by Ligna in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s, following the design tradition of Thonet.
The chairs feature a beautifully curved beechwood frame combined with molded plywood seat and backrest elements. The sculptural oval opening in the backrest serves both as a design feature and practical handle.
Their elegant folding mechanism reflects the Bauhaus philosophy of combining functionality, simplicity and refined craftsmanship.
The warm tone of the beechwood together with the minimal structural lines creates a timeless design suitable for both modern and vintage interiors.
