Product description
Lounge chairs from the AX series, designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in the early 1950s for Fritz Hansen. The design is known for its innovative use of laminated and bent wood, with the frame forming both the structure and silhouette in a single, flowing line.
Lightweight yet structurally strong, these chairs are a beautiful example of early Danish experimentation with industrial woodworking techniques.
This pair has been completely renovated and reupholstered in soft faux lambskin, adding warmth and texture to the clean lines of the design. The frames show light patina and minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
Low, relaxed, and comfortable chairs that maintain a strong silhouette from every angle.
