This set is signed Cloda Mano, the exclusive and sought-after pseudonym created by the great master ceramist Gabriel Fourmaintraux to showcase his finest crackle-glazed earthenware creations at the Desvres factory. The clean, geometric lines of these pigeons, combined with the superb white glaze with bluish and red hues and a finely crackled finish, perfectly embody the modernist and animal-inspired style of the 1930s.
