A special pair of vintage bedside tables, finished in natural mahogany veneer and presumably dating from circa 1935–1940. The cabinets feature a beautiful late Art Deco / Streamline design with rounded corners, a thick rounded top, metal handles, and that characteristic block base.
One of the cabinets still contains the original old order/production label. It reads: “2 bedside tables Emma” “natural mahogany” “Hakkenberg Utrecht”. ‘Emma’ appears to be the original model or series name. I have not been able to identify the exact manufacturer. However, the label suggests a Utrecht/Dutch origin or client.
The cabinets are sold only as a pair. They are in good vintage condition with normal signs of use consistent with their age. The mahogany veneer is largely well preserved. A small piece of veneer is missing from the bottom of the base of one cabinet; this is also clearly visible in the photos. Furthermore, they have some light scratches and patina. Dimensions per cabinet: 50 cm high 49 cm wide 33 cm deep Asking price: €525 for the pair.
