Product description
A lovely pair of Art Deco bottle (or decanter) coasters, exuding the elegance of the Roaring Twenties. The glass is adorned with a stylized floral motif created by sandblasting, leaving an opaque, textured background that contrasts beautifully with the clear glass and frosted rim. The mount is silver-plated metal, set with a delicate checkerboard frieze reminiscent of basketwork.
The square hallmark visible on the rim (marked "Silver guaranteed" + "2g") indicates that it is silver-plated metal and not solid silver; it could not be attributed to a specific maker.
Very good overall condition, retaining their original patina (slight signs of wear and natural oxidation, with no chips or cracks in the glass).
