A beautiful pair of original Art Deco side chairs from the iconic Amsterdam School (Amsterdamse School) period, circa 1920-1930.
Design Details:
Frame: Solid oak construction featuring unique architectural details, including stop-chamfered legs, decorative chiseled apron borders, and turned thimble feet.
Backrests: Exceptional architectural velour fabric featuring an embossed, geometric chevron and sunburst pattern in ochre/mustard tones. Secured by original antiqued upholstery studs.
Seats: Padded seats finished in a similar upholstery.

Condition: Good vintage condition with character and wear consistent with age. Frames are sturdy and stable. The original velour backrests retain excellent pile definition, and the lower seats are firm but show some wear to the velour.
