Le fils du pêcheur de Skepa - 2022 - Signed on the back - Single work on linen canvas and wooden frame with key. Mixed media. Skepa was born in 1978 in France. In the early 90s, he joined the "IDK" collective. Ultra-productive, Skepa's main activity revolves around tagging and throw-up on urban and rolling supports. Following a series of run-ins with the law, "IDK" was disbanded in 1997. It was at this time that Skepa decided, with other activists, to form the group "TBS" (The Brutal Style). As a common thread running through his work, Skepa dismembers and exploits the human body as raw material for his pieces.
