Product description
Original painting by Vigo painter Carmen Gallego. It is painted on wood, using the technique of the Dutch painters. Dimensions: 75x66 with frame and 59x46 without frame.
Frame included. A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY is available.
Carmen Gallego studied at the Vigo School of Arts and Crafts and was a disciple, in drawing and painting, of Illescas, restorer of the Quiñones de León Museum, and of Nogueira in sculpture.
She exhibited throughout Spain and Portugal, and many newspapers reported on her success, for example: Faro de Vigo, Atlántico Diario, La Región, La Voz de Galicia, Bierzo-7, El periódico de Extremadura, etc. (photocopies of newspapers can be supplied, as the painter's career was followed and some photos have been downloaded as examples).*304*22
