S22 stacking chairs – Pagholz / Galvanitas (6 pieces) – ca. 1970
The iconic S22 school chairs by Galvanitas, designed by Elmar Flototto, were among the most beloved industrial chairs of their time. This set of six combines a modern, fashionable look with a robust design – ideal for studios, fashion boutiques, concept stores, or stylish interiors.
The chairs feature Pagholz wenge-colored shells with a beautiful wood grain, combined with a black metal frame. They are designed in the spirit of the famous industrial classics by Wim Rietveld, Jean Prouvé, and Friso Kramer, with the characteristic "pyramid" or "compass" base.
A clever detail: thanks to the specially designed legs, the chairs can be linked together in a row in seconds – the legs simply interlock.
The set is in beautiful vintage condition.
