Product description
This as 2 seater created modul set from the Sofalette series of Otto Zapf was designed by him in the 70s. The black leather of the lounge chair moduls shows a fantastic Patina in some areas and comes in a good condition. As base the chairs have fiberglas shells which are in an age-appropriate condition. No cracks, just some chips which are nearly not visible. The moduls were desigend as a 2 seater but can also be used as single lounge chairs.
Otto Zapf founded together with Niels Vitsoe in 1958 the company Vitsoe+Zapf and ccoperated also with Dieter Rams. In 1969 Otto Zapf left the company and designed in 1970 the Softline system whcih was a huge success. After that Zapf worked for Knoll Int. and his designs were manufactured from Knoll, B&B Italia etc.
